First mile consistently 500m too long

I've had the ionic since Christmas, and have run about 10 runs ranging from 6-12 mi on pretty well established routes.  My previous runs on my Surge, running with friends with other trackers, with my wife's Garmin, and other mapping tools (map my run, etc) have been consistent in distance to within about .05 mi, while the Ionic consistently takes to about 1.35 mi to log the first mile.  Spilt times reflect this too, as i usually run the first mile in about 7:45 and subsequent mies about 8:30, but the ionic shows 11:30 followed by 8:30 splits.  The map appears accurate as is the total elapsed time - is this a known firmware glitch and of so when  can we expect a fix?

A warm welcome to the Community @Mkreuzer. I appreciate the details you've mentioned. In this case, each tracker will register different information as each one use different algorithms. In order to continue assisting, I would like you to provide me with a screenshot of the data you're getting in your Dashboard.

Keep me posted.
