FitBit Ionic losing functionality

I purchased my FitBit Ionic on 26 December 2019

It worked well for about 6 months

After that the Heart Monitor stopped working (even though my heart didn't!)- a problem that I could live with!

Over the last two weeks the stride counter has almost stopped entirely - show values like 350 instead of 25000 and the battery needs re-charging every day instead of once per week )when I first purchased the product). The time, stop watch and email notifications (the functions that I use the most) seem to work okay.

I changed the clock face because that was suggested on a forum but that made no difference

Also, the Warranty Return Policy on the Fitbit website seems to go in a loop without allowing me to find out what I am supposed to do.

Any suggestions?

Fitbit customer support is doing their best, but right now be prepared for longer wait times. Please be patient. Support is limited by the number of representatives available at a given time and the hours of operation. Chat lines are open when they have live help.

What about for Australia?

1800 875 234 will get you through to the U.S. support team.

Perhaps Odyssey13 can add the Australian 1800 number to his/her documentation for when the question is asked again?
