Hello,
I've given up on the GPS on Ionic. We all know it's rubbish; Environmental factors, restart watch, get it replaced, yada yada, nonsense.
Is there a way to link it to the GPS on my phone like other FitBits?

@EdSkelFitbits with GPS capability have built in GPS or connected GPS. If your exercise is basically running or walking, you can use the MobileRun feature of the Fitbit app. After you tap on the Exercise tile > tap on the stopwatch. The only choices are walk, run and hike. MobileRun existed before there were any GPS connected devices.
Some users of current GPS connected devices use MobileRun anyway, because their phones aren't fully compatible or reasons like that.
Some users report exercise double counting when using MobileRun. This is because auto-recognition comes from the device. App tracking comes from the app and they might not "talk" to each other. If you get a double record, you need to turn the auto-recognition off.
Sorry, but if you want to bike, MobileRun will not help you.

That's not really what I'm after here I don't think. I was already using a running app on my phone before I got my FitBit which can track my runs.
I still want to see my current mileage on my watch whilst I'm running.
