Not sure whats going on but it started after I did the most recent update. My Ionic wont stay on unless its plugged in to the charger. It gives me the reboot screen when i press the left and bottom right button but it just shuts off again when it should boot. If I plug it in the the charger it boots up fine no problem and i can access everything. If i unplug the charger then it turns right off. The battery discharges still and charges when its plugged in so the battery is showing up. I thought it might of been the battery going out, but if i factory reset it while its plugged in and it boots up on the set up screen i can unplug it and its perfectly fine until i set it up and updates, then it goes out again. Anyone else running into this, I havent been able to find any information about it and there doesnt seem to be a way to not update to the newest firmware.

Exactly the same. Tried recharge, reset, but as soon as I remove charger, it is off

Ive tried all these steps. Im sure its a software issue though. I Factory reset again last night and after the update turned bluetooth off and turned off all the setting that involve the phone connecting to the fitbit. Its worked all day so far and i just turn the bluetooth back on and synced it once to see what happens. then ill turn on all-day sync tomorrow, always connected 24 hours after that and so on. maybe I can figure out whats going on with this thing

2nd update bluetooth has been on for 24 hours and all is working except that my watch went from about 80% battery to 0 in the span of a couple of hours. I thought it had just gone out again but when i plugged it in this time it said 0%. I let it fully charge and I was able to disconnect it from the charger and it still work. im leaving it alone and not turning anything else on to see if it does it again.

Can you describe exactly what steps to turn the Bluetooth off and turned off all of the setting that involve the phone connecting to the fitbit after the update? I still can't make it stays on after removing the charger.

it doesnt matter. It stayed on for a while longer but it did the same thing today. Then i charged it and reset it again and it went from 90% to 0% in about 2 hours. i dont know what happened with it. Maybe its coincidence that the fitbit started acting up as soon as i updated the firmware but my money is on the firmware screwed something up.

I contacted tech support and get the replacement. Don't think mine can recover. Just be curious if I there is anyway to factory reset and install the old FW instead of new FW.
