Fitbit Ionic Compatibility with Blackberry Key One Android Phone

I am buying a blackberry key one android phone and really want to purchase the fit bit ionic.  Although blackberry is not shown as supported phone I know that the charge hr 2 does work with the blackberry priv android phone.  Can anyone confirm if you get notifications (calls, txts etc) with the key one and ionic. Thanks all!

@Turns Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for your question regarding the compatibility between Ionic and Blackberry Key One.

As you mentioned, this mobile device is not listed under the list of supported devices. This means that there is a chance that not all of the Ionic's features will work on that phone. Me, for example, have an unsupported device (Moto G4), and most of the features work, but there are other that doesn't. I have also seen other users that are using unsupported devices and are not able to get notifications.

My advise would be to get a compatible mobile device (listed). 

Hopefully, any Blackberry user will jump in this thread and let us know about their experience with it.

@Turns, I just purchased an Ionic and it works well with the Blackberry KeyOne. The SMS notifications appear on the Ionic, and "quick replys" work too. Phone notifications work fine.

I am not sure about email. Only Gmail shows up in the list of list where you select your default email, and I don't use that service.
