Fitbit Ionic Losing Charge Rapidly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Help please, my ionic has started to lose charge yesterday. I didn’t do anything different to normal, didn’t set to gps, last night noticed it was down to 9% charge when normally I charge it every day with a top up as usually no less than 80%. This morning after wearing overnight and being charged up it had dropped to 12%. I have no apps on my ionic and I do not have any notifications, it’s basically just tracking my steps and telling me the time. Help, I’m extremely concerned as think it may just be out of warranty!!

Have you tried restarting it several times? If not give that a go and seenifbthe battery life improves. Ifnit doesnt you will need to try a factory reset (settings app on the watch and scroll down to About). Let us know ifbthat improves things. If it doesnt younwill need to contact Support (link in my signature)

Welcome on board @Iso69, it's nice to see you here! I'd recommend trying the restart that @NellyG has suggested.

it seems that it has insufficient power source. Where do you charge your tracker? Have you checked if by any chance the USB port or outlet is faulty? If you haven't done so, try a different port. A UL-certified wall charger will also work. Don't use a USB hub. Then, please try charging your tracker around 1-2 hours and keep an eye on its behavior.

If the battery is still draining too quickly, let me know.
