I purchased Fitbit Ionic today for a couple of key reasons over the competition.
1) Battery life
2) Synchronising music from Mac / PC.
For the former, I am yet to test it out but for the latter, I am a bit disappointed that there is NO indication anywhere that the Ionic only works with iOS (or Android). Infact I installed the MacOS software and setup community profile before purchasing.
The issue is that music files are on my Mac so how do I sync my music to the watch as the USB cable connecting MacOs to Fibit is rendered useless because Fitbit MacOS software won't recognise Ionic.
Is there a seamless way to do this pls ?

@SpiritChaser Did you follow the steps as outlined in the following help article?

Thanks @sfringer. I have since viewed few youtube / google links and realised the complexity, so decided to pass and retain music on iPhone.
I would have very much preferred a simple drag & drop solution. I have files sized at least 125 MB each, so would take day or two to sync up and none of them are on playlist.
Very disappointed with Fitbit for complicating a simple task of transferring local music in this day and age, you have to jump through hoops as if it still year 2002 ??
