Fitbit Ionic - Temperature sensor

Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me out on how to make use of the Temperature sensor? How can I get information from it?

It is mentioned in the official FitBit manual under Sensors - page 76. I thought it will be easy to find it across the OS, but there is nothing related to it. 😕

There is a new skin temp area in the app. It says I need to upgrade my firmware which is the latest one currently, so hopefully Fitbit will release a new one soon.

Hi everyone! Thanks for your inquiry about this.

You could learn more about the skin temperature, breathing rate, heart-rate variability, oxygen saturation and resting heart rate data that could be seen on the Fitbit app, find more info about it in this article: What should I know about health metrics in the Fitbit app?

I'll be around if you have any additional questions!

How absolutely bizarre they have a temperature sensor fitted but no app or use for it (I had no idea it existed) and now, in the middle of a pandemic, up it pops.  It’s as if they knew!  I’m not sure I want my temp tracked, I feel like I may get bundled into a black van if my temperature rises.

I have the tabs under health metrics for oxygen and skin temperature, but it says I have to update in order to use it. I have already factory reset my watch, and it says it's completely up to date. I have a Fitbit ionic. Why is this always so difficult to use 😭😭😭
