Fitbit Ionic Unresponsive After Factory Reset?

So I originally got my Fitbit Ionic in 2017, other than a few issues here and there it was never that bad until today. Earlier today it started to act up (notifications not going away, freezing, not syncing) normally whenever something like this happens I do a quick little soft reset and that clears everything up, this time it started back up and worked fine for about an hour or so. After awhile it started to act up again I assumed I probably had taken up too much storage (I used a big watch face and had Pandora stations installed) but I couldn't sync it to fix any of this so I went into the settings on the watch and performed a factory reset, after a minute or so my ionic turns off and I assume the reset is done but when I went to turn it back on nothing happened (yes, I tried holding all three buttons for 15 seconds and holding the left and bottom right buttons for 15 seconds) eventually I gave up and contacted Fitbit troubleshooting and apparently this is a common problem with the Ionic and I was sent a 25% discount code. Seeing as the Ionic is one of the more expensive watches 25% won't help very much especially since I just paid a hefty fee for an upcoming trip so I decided to take to the forums and hope that somebody has found a solution to this problem.

Welcome to the club. So many of us here have experienced this exact same catastrophic device failure.  Offering a replacement in warranty or a discount won't really solve any issues because they are just replacing and/or selling devices that will have the same fatal flaw(s).

Kind of ironic, the watch with the most features also has the most issues.
