Fitbit Ionic cannot pair up to App

Hello All!

 

I haven an issue where my Ionic stopped pairing up completely with my Android App and Windows 10 App. Here's a list of the things I have tried in chronological order:

 

  • Restarted Ionic
  • Turned bluetooth on / off on app device
  • Restarted my app device
  • Multiple combinations of the 2 above
  • Uninstalled / Reinstalled App from device
  • Use the 'reset to factory' option from the Ionic

 

At this point, the Ionic is on the set up screen with the multi-language prompts, and it cannot be paired up to either my android phone nor my windows laptop. On trying to do so, it goes to the sync screen, it gives me the 'Found It!' messege, but then the actual set up fails on either device and I get the 'Not Working?' screen with the 3 suggestions (all of which I have followed)

 

Please help me, I have no idea what else I can try now 😞

I appreciate the troubleshooting tried and the detailed information shared. Sorry to hear that your Ionic is now showing the set up screen.
