Fitbit Ionic dead and won’t charge

My Fitbit Ionic went dead about 2 weeks ago. I have done all cleaning of charging contacts on both the watch and the charging cable, left to charge with cable plugged into wall, attempted reboot and factory reset procedures as recommended in other then chats and still nothing.

The watch is about 1 year old and has slowly experienced deterioration of several functions starting with step tracking then erratic heart rate increases, loss of sleep details and score before this issue.

I would like to get it back to functioning properly

I am having the same issue.

I have owned my Fitbit for 2 years and after my first year, this same thing happened and I had to order a replacement. Now, again, one year later this is happening.

I plugged in my Fitbit to charge overnight and the screen lit up to show the battery percentage as per normal. Come morning, I went to put on my Fitbit and it won’t turn on.

I got my first Fitbit on my birthday in January. This issue has come annually ever since.

Seems to be common, happened to mine and ive just seen another post with the same issue.  Doesn't seem to be fixable.

i contacted Fitbit support and they are sending a replacement, mine was under a year old and had 2 years warranty, I understand some parts of the world only have 1 year though
