Fitbit Ionic didn't reset steps at midnight

My ionic today already has me at over 30,000 steps. I knew this couldn’t possibly be right so I opened the Fitbit app on my phone and selected today’s steps. Still says over 30,000. But when I go to the screen that shows the bar graph of every 15 min I tallied each bar from midnight to now and only have just over 14,000. This is confirmed at the top of that same page. How come one page has it right while another and the ionic have it sooo wrong

It's nice to see you around the forums @meberose! As you just mentioned, it seems that your tracker forgot to reset the information by itself during midnight, when this happens, even if you try to restart your tracker, delete the app, negate the steps, this won't work. Everything will be back to normal the next midnight when your tracker resets the information as it should. There's nothing to worry about my friend, this happened to me once and I had to wait the next midnight in order for it correct itself Smiley Very Happy (I know this can be annoy, I feel you). 

 

However, I'd recommend reset your tracker by following these steps to refresh it internally, but don't forget the restart won't help to erase the steps it has already today. 

 

Talking about the graphs, as you saw, from midnight to the time you checked it out it was showing you had over 14,000 steps. The graphic is right, the issue was coming from your Ionic that night. Since your app shows what your tracker has, that's why the total amount was showing at 30,000.
