I bought a fitbit Ionic about a year ago, within a few months it completely stopped working. I contacted customer support , who after not being able to get it started again, sent me another one ( minus the band). I was very happy with that solution....until today. My fitbit's face began to split and come apart. I contacted customer service and they used the date of my original purchase of the first defective fitbit to determine that my warranty had expired. They offered me a discount to buy a new watch. Why would anyone want to repurchase a watch that has broken down twice within a year. I'm sorry, but a $300 watch should last longer than a year. Before talking to customer service my Ionic watch was still working. After I hung up, mysteriously it stopped altogether. All I can get is the fitbit logo. I tried several times to reset it. I even tried a factory reset to no avail. I'm really upset, I really loved my Ionic when it was working 😞 Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @bunny2861, just to be clear, was it the watch face that came apart or the band?

unfortunately, it was the watch face. If it were the band I would've gladly bought another. Also I have an update, I just got home from work and the display has come back. I will research some glues that work on metal. Since my warranty is over maybe glue will work to keep it from splitting.
