Fitbit Ionic glitching.

I've been wearing my Fitbit for a few months and swimming with it just fine. I wore it snorkeling in the ocean yesterday (near the surface) and it's been glitching ever since. It constantly vibrates and tells me I have no new messages (normally i have to scroll down to see that). It does it 15 times in a minute...I mean its constant. And if it isnt doing that it is opening up the app.  Then it flips back and forth between the two. I have tried restarting the Fitbit.

Thank you. The top right button doesnt seem to be working either. I wonder if that's the source of the glitching. I tried a factory rest. Havent had enough time to see if the glitching will start again but the button doesnt seem to work even after the reset.
