My Fitbit Ionic last synced yesterday morning. For some reason, it would only sync when I have my mobile data on and NOT on Wi-Fi. So I tried all last evening to sync it but no luck.
This morning, I uninstalled and re-installed Fitbit and then tried to sync, no luck.
I updated my phone (One Plus so Android) and then repeated the same steps, no luck.
Just now deleted my device and am trying to set it back up. Guess what, no luck.
It cant even find the device, whereas my Bluetooth has been turned on and off several times in the past few hours.
Bluetooth is on and it still cant get the Ionic to work.
I have been a Fitbit user for 5 years now, I am not impressed with the syncing problems I have had in the past year first with the Blaze and now with Ionic. It is very frustrating to say the least. NONE of the "helpful" articles are actually helpful and yet I have followed all the instructions.
Could your development team please provide a more robust system???

Unfortunately this is what you get sometimes with this device. The system was not designed for robust reliable operation.
If feeling lucky you could try a reset to factory. But note some report devices have bricked doing that going into a constant loop. So instead would contact Tech Support. If they cannot get it to work properly they should replace it.
Normally they cannot “fix” - but are good “replacing”. Try that.
