Fitbit Ionic keeps restarting and won’t swipe

So today it keeps restarting over and over and over again the brief few minutes when it does go on it won’t swipe at all and won’t let me obv go do a factory reset. It’s continually restarting and I can’t access anything. It’s about 2/3 years old so out of warranty but surely it should be lasting longer it’s kept in very good condition. I’ve tried holding the 3 buttons down till it restarts and I’ve tried switching it off for 10 mins then back on. Still nothing. Any help?

I’ve had the same problem. My ionic is less than a year old and for the last few days, keeps turning itself on and off again. When its on the touch screen doesn’t work!! I have tried all the normal fixes, restarting by holding the two buttons down and even managed to get through to the settings menu at one point to turn it off completely but its still doing it!!

Mine has been perfect for between 2-3 years. Is it a coincidence the latest update that was due for the app I downloaded today then this happens?

I have had my Icon for just over 2 years now with no problems. 2 weeks ago it kept restarting its self all the time. Now after the second last update my battery wont hold charge! It drains within 3hours so can no longer use it!! (Did factory reset etc,) what a joke hey, $400 watch that lasts not even 4 years.

What are the chances haha. Latest update must be designed to screw with the older ones so we buy newer ones. I’m sure apple got sued for messing with older phones making them eventually slow down haha. Hopefully Fitbit messages me back I’ve sent them an email

Yeah i honestly recon that is true. Never had any issues until recently. I contacted them this morning via Live Chat, once my fitbit is fully charged i have to keep syncing it so they can see how fast it drains then hopefully come up with an answer to fix it. If not ill be pushing for a new one as its just a waste of money, a $400 watch should least 4 years especially when only using it for music and to keep track of sleep. 
Anyways i would try live chat, i did send an email few days ago but i want my watch working now.

So woke up this morning to my screen all green and fuzzy done a restart hoping it would fix it and since then won’t even switch on now? I swear this worked amazing for the couple of years I had it and also was well looked after then update happens and same day it breaks? Hmmm

Latest update screen is totally green and all icons and as soon as I touch to see the time it lasts 5 seconds with green and green fuzzy lines then switches off? Can anyone at Fitbit or a Fitbit mod help please?

They did have a notice on the website that they're aware there is a problem and that they're working on the problem. That was a week ago and in the meantime all functionality of my watch is useless. First world problem.. but a problem nonetheless
