Fitbit Ionic not turning on

I have a fitbit symbol on my fitbit ionic that I can not get to turn on or hard reset. What should I do?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation

When my Ionic wouldn't sync, I tried to restart it, now it won't turn on at all. Is this part of the issues that are being worked on?

No the sensors aren't flashing on the back and it will charge but is unresponsive  with any other  command I have tried

I had read the article and none of those apply. 

I did not know that there were syncing issues so tried restarting to see if it would sync. The battery is not depleted. The lights on the back are not flashing. I did plug it in so see if that would help and again nothing.
