Fitbit Ionic only displaying Fitbit sign

Yesterday afternoon my Fitbit Ionic started vibrating and then only showing Fitbit sign. It now just flashes the fitbit sign on and off. Now no vibration. I have tried pressing 2 buttons and holding, I have tried holding 3 buttons. Nothing changes.

 

It drained the battery, so I have recharged it and again it is showing just the Fitbit sign and not responding to button pushing.

I have this too. I can not even go to the Menu now for setting back to factory defaults, as a last resort
