I've had my Fitbit for four months and up to now it has recorded my sleep every night. Three days ago it stopped registering my sleep. I haven't changed anything in the settings, and the band is still on its usual notch as far as tightness goes.
Also, it really annoys me that it it only seems to record one period of sleep a night. If I need to get up during the night, it forgets all the sleep I've already had and only displays the last period for the night.
I'm not too happy - I'm beginning to think the watch is faulty.

Try restarting it several times and see how it goes tonight. My Ionic records sleep well and is not phased by my getting up at night as longs as it is not more than a few minutes break from sleep. So if the restarts dont improvenit, contact Support and see what theybsay (link in my signature)

Yes, mine stopped properly logging sleep 2 weeks ago as well, I did a restart and it logged that night but then stopped again, I tried tightening the wrist band and it didn't track sleep at all last night.
My last FitBit stopped logging my pulse, the green light burned out, so I replaced it with the Ionic and am getting poor sleep tracking results from it as well even though pulse tracking is working.
