I’ve had my Ionic for about 2 years and recently when I’m doing even modest physical activity, like walking, my heart rate reading quickly spikes to 165 or higher. This got my attention as I recently discovered I have a mild arrhythmia so I’m watching my heart rate more closely. Taking my own heart rate I realized I’m fine and a 165 or > heart rate for 10+ minutes should put me in the emergency room.
I’ve done the workarounds to reboot the Ionic, wear the Ionic almost all the time, ensure the firmware is up to date, and that the wristband is properly adjusted. I’ve learned to view the heart rate monitor with intense skepticism. Any ideas how to fix this?

@SteveInSeattle It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for the detailed information shared and the troubleshooting tried.
Currently Fitbit doesn't track arrhythmia yet. However, we're always striving to improve our watches, this is why we have our Feature Suggestion board, those ideas are reviewed by our team and the status changes based in Fitbit's plans.
I've noticed this idea has been posted here: Detect irregular heart beats, please vote and comment to show your support.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
