Fitbit Ionic unexpected battery drainage

Yesterday I had charged up my Fitbit Ionic with no hassels or problems, in which I went to sleep and had my sleep tracked overnight. However, this morning when I woke up, my screen was blinking on and off when I would go to check a stat and/or the time. As the day has gone on, my battery has been unexpectedly draining without very much warning! I have tried to shutdown my Ionic and turn it back on to rectify this but with avail so far! What should I do to fix this...?!?!?!?

@BlueKid425 A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry to hear that your Ionic is draining its battery quickly. Adding to @Purrstachio great suggestion you can try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

Let me know how it goes.

It could be the clock face you are using. Some of them cause the battery to drain faster than it should. I'm back to my favorite one now because the developer seems to have fixed the problem.
