Had to replace my 950 XL with HP Elite x3 Windows Phone. Would like to replace my MS Band 1. How well does the FitBit Ionic Notifications work with HP Elite x3 Windows Phone?

I can’t say for sure, as it’s not on the list of supported phones. However, noting the other Windows phones are limited in their notification support, I’m guessing not very well.

I recently replaced my Lumia 735 with HP Elite X3 and wondering the exact same thing. I don't want to purchase anything if I am not going to get text and call notifications at a minimum. If you are able to determine please update here. I've tried to get stores to let me pair a device and test it but no one has let me so far.

I did purchase the Fitbit Ionic and it is paired with my HP elite x3. I am getting email, text, phone and calendar alerts on a regular basis, so it seems to pair notifications just fine. I also selected to App Notifications for the phone's native NEW, MONEY & SPORTS Apps and getting some of those, and I selected to get Facebook App notifications and seem to be getting some of those as well. So far I am very happy with the Notifications Sync. I set my Quiet Hours from 9pm to 5am and that works to prevent any notifications when I am sleeping. Hope this helps!

When it came to getting the fitbit to update through wifi. Did you ever have any issues in getting the updates to push to the watch?

@danward13How did you get the calendar alerts to work?

I have a Windows 10 laptop and have had no issues with pairing/syncing my Ionic.  I can't speak for the other features, as I have a Samsung for a phone.

Go into Fitbit App, Select the Account Icon on lower right. In Account select Ionic. In Ionic select Notifications. In Notifications turn On Slider Switch for Calendar (and any other Notifications you want). If you turn on App Notifications tap the words "App Notifications" and in there you can select any Apps you do/do not want to get Notifications from. Some of the Apps I selected do not give Notifications. But I do get them from News, Sports, Money, Messenger, and 6tag.

I'm using Outlook calendar. I have a Outlook mail option in app notifications, but no calendar or Outlook calendar option. Strange! All other notifications are working properly.

On what device are you referring to? In my notifications (iOS) I’ll agree there is no separate Outlook calendar but in my settings, given the length of the name is truncated, it could be under Microsoft Outlook- emai... (...l and calendar?) Not sure but as I get Outlook calendar notifications, I’m assuming so.

@SunsetRunnerI'm using a Lumia 950XL now. I also tried it with the HP Elite x3. Still the same behavior. Could be that the Fitbit doesn't recognize the Outlook calendar app as calendar app.

@Saku-wan Unfortunately I don't have my 950XL anymore, so can't investigate but perhaps being a MS phone it's better able to split Outlook's email and calendar functions yet Fitbit isn't. Especially noting in your apps list it's shown simply as Outlook, whereas in mine it's MS Outlook. Strange but as I say, I can't help anymore. Sorry
