I woke up after charging one night and the screen was dead, not even the 0% charge message showed. Totally bricked. Bought 20 months ago. No unusual use.
Tried: Different charger cable, different usb converter, different outlets, charging on laptop, cleaning contacts, reset, factory reset. No luck.
I see many others have had this issue. Has anything actually worked to fix it? I know it's out of the 1 yr warranty but for a product I spent >$200 on, I'd like to see Fitbit offer to repair, replace, or steeply discount a new product (by more than the 25% off MSRP offer it sounds like most people are getting for this issue).
Otherwise I'd stay away from Fitbit in the future. I've been pretty happy with the brand and products otherwise, but I want strong products and customer service beyond 1yr at the >$200 price point.

Yes me too.! Exact same thing; woke up and not charged and will not turn on at all. I’ve tried all the suggestions I’ve found in the forums with no success. Fitbit please help us?!
