Fitbit Pay in UK

Pay, Wallet or whatever !!! Just got my Ionic but the number of supported Banks in UK is v v disappointing. What the store sales team tell you is that you can pay with wallet and that is true. What they don't say is only 3 Banks will work. I've tried all mine just to see, Visa Debit and Mastercard e.g. NATWEST, MBNA and CAPITALONE and the same unsupported message comes through. Love the Ionic as a fitness tool and getting the hang of its operation. Will take up with my bank(s) but I don't expect any changes in the near future.

For lifetime of Ionic there was only one update to the list of supported UK banks - Santander. The other supported banks are barely known to anybody. This feature is dead in the UK.

Yes, I have to agree with that limitation. For what it's worth I spoke to Nat West and they say there are no plans for smart watches. Luckily I didn't buy mine for that function. It'll probably change at some stage. Moving on ..... !!!

Just got an Ionic and although bought for fitness was keen on the idea of payment.Was very disappointed to to find such limited support for banks. I didnt realise that all cards were not supported and it doesnt make it known in the advertising literature. Although i bet there is some small print somewhere hidden away.

I binned my Ionic - luckily within the returns policy if the retailer - and
went for a Garmin. Much more sophisticated and accurate. Went from a Toy to
a Tool.

Agree. Very disappointing that there are so few (only 1!) of the major UK banks on the list.
