Fitbit Pay not working

In the past week or so Fitbit Pay stopped working, retailers (all of them, so far) show rejected. However, Bank of America still shows my virtual card is in current good status, and I can use my Fitbit at supported BOA ATMs normally.

Hello @JamesJa thank you for bringing this to my attention, I'm happy to give you a hand with this. It's nice to see you again participating in our Community Forums!

Seems odd that the Fitbit Pay feature of your Ionic device is not working as we designed. Can you please let me know if at the moment you tried to pay with your watch you were able to hear a beep on the POS? Otherwise, this could be that your Ionic is not communicating properly. If the payment terminal isn't recognizing Fitbit Pay, please take in consideration the following:

- Make sure the merchant uses contactless payment methods

Make sure the watch face is near the reader and that the cashier knows you’re using a contactless payment

You must wear your watch on your wrist to make payments with Fitbit Pay

- If prompted, enter your 4-digit watch PIN code

- When the payment succeeds, your watch vibrates and you’ll see a confirmation on the screen

If you've checked the information above, then try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Uninstall card from wallet app
  2. Uninstall wallet app
  3. Delete Fitbit app
  4. Reinstall app
  5. Reinstall wallet app
  6. Re add your card
  7. Restart your Ionic

I'll be here if you need further assistance. Let me know how it goes.
