I was wondering if the sleep score beta is going to start soon. According to this link, it should have started in November:

@SunsetRunner I hope you're doing well! Thanks for your interest in the sleep score beta test.
Please go to this link: https://www.fitbit.com/labs/sleep-score and enroll yourself in the testing.
Please note that because Sleep Score beta is experimental in nature, it will only be available for a limited period of time. Also, this is currently open to users in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!

Thank you! Does the sleep score beta utilize the oxygen sensor in my Ionic?

One more question: will I be able to access the FitBit Sleep Score data from the app, or will I need to go directly to the site?

Very interesting. I wish they open to everyone but not just those 3 selected countries. I wonder how countries are being selected...

Hello everyone! Thanks for your interest in the Sleep Score Beta Test.
I don't currently have much information about it, but the one I already provided. In this case, the best thing you can do if you have any specific questions about this testing is to use the Feedback Form you will find at the bottom of this page: https://www.fitbit.com/labs/sleep-score/help
Please feel free to ask any inquiry you may have and share any information you may gather on this thread so other users may have more insights about this.
Thanks for your participation on this thread. Keep me posted!

I have a Charge 2. Would've had the Charge 3 if i thought the SP02 sensor was gonna work. I'm signed up for the Beta, do you know how long it'll be running for? eg.. end dec, jan, feb? Also, does it use the Sp02 on the Charge 3? If so i may pick one up but not gonna spend money for something that isn't going to be used

Have you got a sleep score from using your charge 2?

Yes I have a charge 2 and was looking to get a charge 3 if the study used it depending how long it ran for

Guess you misunderstood my first question.
Using your charge 2 and signed up to the beta did you receive a sleep score?
If yes, then sleep score is not using spo2 or is covering for the lack of spo2.
If no score it would be reasonable to assume it is relying heavily on the spo2 sensor and thus would be a reason to upgrade to the charge 3.

I would hope that Fitbit would not allow people to sign up for the beta with devices that are not supported. What would that accomplish?

I think Fitbit has been collecting this data for quite some time. My red light is on while I'm sleeping. It looks like the actual sleep score will only be available to people in the beta, but Fibit is definitely collecting data from everyone.

I have an Ionic (which has the SpO2 sensor) and am enrolled in the sleep beta. My sleep report has the following sections:
Sleep Score
Sleep Duration
Sleep Depth
Revitalization
The help page for revitalization does make the comment,"...or changes in oxygen levels—those are considered breathing disturbances. Inhale, exhale, repeat." That is the only reference to oxygen on the help page. So, that would indicate the use of the sensor, but there's no ability to see the raw data if it exists.

@motormusic1 Do you also have the revitalisation category available with your Charge 2?
