Hi all just ordered a fitbit , I ordered the charcoal / smoke grey assuming it would be black like the dozens of pictures but the band looks blue...

Or is it just my eyes, I thought I ordered a blue / grey one,

Has anyone else kind of noticed this...

@Np90 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! That is odd! Colors are very different and you can differentiate which one is what. Let me help you out for you to be sure!

Could you please reply posting a picture of your Ionic? That way I'll tell you the one you have. Please send a bright picture, so I can see the color the best way possible!

Keep me posted! Smiley Very Happy

I also got the charcoal version expecting it to be “blacker” like in the photos but it is definitely more grey than black.  I think the silver/blue grey version is really really blue....almost purple in fact.   Here’s my charcoal Ionic:

That absolutely looks like the Blue gray/silver gray Ionic.  I ordered a charcoal Ionic and received blue gray instead.  You should contact support.

Do you think?  Can you post a pic of your charcoal one?  I thought the blue/grey silver one looked more like this:

That's definitely the charcoal one. The blue/grey silver which I have is almost lilac in colour like the picture posted above.

Managed to find the description on the outer packaging, it is indeed the charcoal one, but the band does look bluey... Lol

I was expecting a black one especially from the pictures I saw, would be a better all Rounder with one, have to get one separate I suppose

Yep - it looks much blacker in some of the product images vs actual. I too also originally thought “wait - this can’t be the right colour” 🙂

Mine is the charcoal grey one too. You can contact Support to make sure you have the correct one, but if they can't do anything about it, you can order bands on EBay for $10 or less. I'm even thinking of getting one for my upcoming cruise!

Hello everyone! Thanks for posting your Ionic pictures and for making this thread a very informative and constructing one. I'm sure this will help other users as well, specially new Ionic users.

I'd get another set of wrist bands for Ionic. That way you can combine them and use one of each. I have 2 sets of Ionic bands and combine them depending on how I'm dressing that day. It's fun and people notices it and think it's cool as well. This is just a suggestion though! Smiley Very Happy

If you are interested, the best place to get them is the Fitbit Store. However, you can find plenty of bands at other retailers.

Let me know what you think! Smiley Happy

The color for the Charcoal/Smoke Grey is not well-represented on the website. I too thought I purchased or was sent the wrong color. The body seems much darker on the site; it almost looks black. Also, I just did a side-by-side comparison with an model ionic in a display case at a retailer. There is a significant difference in the color of the body. The display model is almost black.
