My fitbit all of a sudden stopped working when I would put it on the charger it and tried to turn it on it would continuously vibrate but nothing on the screen would come up. Has anyone had this issue. And any idea how to fix it. I feel like I have tried everything.

On the morning of Friday, August 21, 2020 I noticed on my Fitbit app asking me to upgrade my device so I did. After doing so I noticed that whenever I moved my wrist my Fitbit would vibrate, the face would show what looked like a sneaker, fireworks and a disco ball. When ever I would look to check the time the same thing would happen, sneaker, fireworks and a disco ball. Prior to upgrading my app, Fitbit worked perfectly. What did the upgrade do to my Fitbit?

On Saturday morning I went out for my four hour walk and my Fitbit just continued to vibrate until around two miles when fitbit seemed to have died. Sure enough it showed on my app that it quit recording my steps.

When I returned home I plugged fitbit in to charge it and after about fifteen minutes it showed that Fitbit was 50% charged. After Fitbit was fully charged I put it back on my wrist and it vibrated whenever I moved throughout the day. That night I put Fitbit on the charger to charge throughout the night.

Sunday morning I removed Fitbit from the charger, which was 100% charged, and went out for my four mile walk. The Fitbit vibrated and would not stop, I finally took it off and put in my pocket. When I got home and plugged it into the charger and it was at 52% battery life. Normally after being charged worn throughout the day and night and after my walk my Fitbit is only down to 92%.

I would like help from you, fix the update, remove the update and restore my Fitbit with the previous software, or give me an opportunity to have my Fitbit replaced. I have been with Fitbit since 2013 and this is my second Fitbit. My doctor and I both depend on the information Fitbit provides. Please respond.

Oh no, I love my Fitbit and really hate to lose it in that way. I just bought new wrist bands as well because the plastic one that came with it cracked.

Since today is Monday I will wait to see if customer service can help me out. Then I will have to decide where to go from there. It seems like it has to be a software problem on their end. And if they can roll back the upgrade or fix the upgrade. It can’t be that hard, the watch is a small computer.

Thank you for responding.
