My boyfriend's Fitbit iconic would not sync to his app so I turned off his Fitbit as I have had to do this with my Fitbit versa because it had the same issue of not syncing. Turning mine off and back on was the only way I could fix it, but his iconic will not turn back on. It isn't even 6months old

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.
