Fitbit ionic - Swipe right/ Notifications

Have received a Fitbit ionic for Xmas,  have set up correctly, when I receive notifications I cannot find them on watch, does the ionic actually swipe to the right because on my watch you can't, where do you find stored notification?

To find notifications swipe down from the top of the screen

Swipe right was removed when Alexa was added to the Versa 2

I cannot comment on the Versa but i still swipe down on my Ionic to see notifications, even after the last firmware update.

Yes @Jovial that is how the ionic and all the versa models work.
