Fitbit ionic battery issues

I have had a fitbit Ionic for about a year. It now runs out of charge after 24 hours. This is with just basic use. If i use the device to record a specific activity then it usually runs out of charge during the activity, rendering it a useless piece of equipment. Has anyone else had similar issues?

Same issue here. no idea. other people have same problem. mine started about 8 days ago. 4-5 days bat life, down to about 8 hours overnight. i think its a broken update issue, or maybe its programmed to do this, forcing us to buy a new device. i think its impossible for a battery to go from 4-5 days on one charge, down to a few hours. i thought batteries die slowly.
