Fitbit ionic not syncing

Hi there, for the last 3 days my Fitbit will not sync with my iPhone. I have never had this problem before. I checked previous bloggs and followed instructions on removing app from phone and reloading etc but it’s still not working. Any advice would be great fully received. Many thanks

I have this problem too. And the time on my watch constantly falls behind the actual time - I woke up this morning and the time was almost 2 hours behind where it should be.

The only way I've been able to sync, and fix the time on the watch, is to plug it into a power supply to charge. But then when I unplug it again the time starts to fall behind again and I can't sync.

I have also found that the heart rate app and calories burned have disappeared from my dashboard. this is really frustrating as I have done some great workouts the last 4 days and nothing is uploading to my phone. I hope its not lost. I will get onto FITBIT support, they are normally very helpful.

They’ve been pretty much useless with me. I’ve been in email contact with them for around a week now and I’m no closer to getting the problems sorted.

I'm having the same problem. I've restarted the fitbit and removed the device in the app, then re-set up watch. That seems to work 2 out of 3 times (it's happened 3 times). My workouts and daily steps also read as zero on the online dashboard until I repeat this process.  Maybe it has something to do with the firm ware update?

It’s like my watch becomes totally invisible if it’s not plugged into a power source. Bluetooth on my iPhone 8 can’t find the watch and neither can my WiFi.

No idea and Fitbit support seem to not know either. Which is alarming and disappointing.

Where is the live chat found?

Never mind, I got in touch through live chat. It was no help to me as they just wanted me to go through all the steps they've already told me to do through email contact. They're passing me on to a different department now who will email me "soon". Sigh.
