Last night my Fitbit ionic kept coming on with the big Fitbit logo on screen. It did this off and on for awhile so I took it off and plugged it in over night figuring they were doing some kind of updating. I put it on this morning and it looked fine. But when I went to go for my walk later and start the app I had a black screen. Later the screen came back on and had tracked my steps but I can’t change to a different screen. Nothing works. Did 10 flights of stairs and it didn’t track any. Not sure what happened but it doesn’t work anymore.😡

Your problem looks pretty serious. So would not even waste time like many would want you to do here. Call Tech Support right now and do their specific troubleshooting protocols with them on the phone. If they cannot get it to work properly they should offer you a replacement or a refund or a discount on another if out of warranty.
Am constantly amazed at the multitude of random guesses trying to solve problems on this Help Forum. When the person is not qualified or has the authority to offer you a replacement device anyways. Tech Support needs to know exactly “themselves” what has been done -> before they will offer anyone a replacement device.
Those that repeatedly recommend users to do a factory reset to new have no clue. Tech Support told me explicitly not to do this as you may brick the device. Since then will only ever do a factory reset with Tech Support on the line. Many have followed my recommendations and now have replacements solving their problem. Most on here will not give you that frank of advice. Let me know how that goes for you. Number direct is linked in my sig.
