Fitbit ionic stuck on diamond logo screen

My ionic was still recording my steps and said it was syncing with my app. But the app was not recording my sleep or steps the following day. This happened for three days. 

On one of the days the ionic said I had walked 20k steps but I hadn't.

Have tried factory reseting the ionic and now it it just stuck on the diamond fitbit logo.

I'm having the diamond issue.  I have tried to rest, multiple times.
