Fitbit ionic waking me up all night!

Ugh -  why oh why is my ionic buzzing periodically on my wrist throughout the night and waking me? I have notifications turned off. And in fact when it buzzes and I look at my watch, there are no notifications of any sort. I swear it happened possibly 6 to 8 times last night and woke me up each time. 😢  I have combed through some of the posts. But like I said, no notifications are coming up. It just does a double buzz vibration, enough to wake me up, and nothing there. It’s killing me - help!!!

@KerryM1000As a double check have you turned off notifications while asleep on the Ionic ?

If not, go into the Ionic settings, swipe until Notifications, tap and ensure "Notifications while aslee" is OFF......

Then we can worry about the vibrations,..

Hi - thank you for the input!  Yes,  that was one of the first changes I made. In fact when the device vibrates on my wrist in the middle the night and I look at it… There are no notifications!

Long shot but isn't a double buzz a move reminder? Make sure move reminders aren't set for the hours you sleep, done through the app. Unlikely but worth a look.

Thank you for the long shot!  Actually, I have all move reminders OFF.  Good idea, though!

Just FYI - still happening!!   I ended up on a chat with support and they thought my notifications were delayed? I don’t know what they did on their end but by the time the chat was over she thought it was fixed. Nope. 😢

Is it possible to set the night-time in time for example 23.00-08.00? I'm afraid of notifying what I may be at 7.00am. Thank you

Is this still happening with your ionic? It happens to me at least once a week. I have notifications off and my screen isn’t showing anything but my clock face when it vibrates in the middle of the night. It’s so frustrating! I think I’ll call fitbit today, but I’m not very optimistic.

Well luckily for me something worked.  Eventually the problem stopped.  BUT....I don’t know why!  I think it may have had to do with WiFi.  Right now I don’t have WiFi set up on the watch and I think I did when it was happening.  Maybe mess with that?
