Fitbit ionic won’t charge

I left my Fitbit dead for about a week because I was gone. Now that I’m back I tried plugging it into the wall and charging it and I can get it to turn on but the battery just says it’s at zero and won’t charge. I’ve left it overnight plugged in without touching it and got up in the morning, can turn it on and the battery is still at zero. Has this happened to anybody else and do you know a way to fix it?

Hi, have you tried to do the hard reset? Holding down the left button and the bottom right button down. Or even all three. If you have and wont work call Fitbit. If you have had your watch less than a year and are still under warranty call and get a new one from them. Mine did the same I only had the thing 18 months. And all the offered was 25% off next purchase which is not fair since it was expensive. Best of luck .

I’ve tried to reset it and nothing. This is my second Fitbit Ionic that has had a battery problem, my first one just turned off and wouldn’t turn back on but I was still in warranty so I got a free one. unfortunately now I’m out of warranty but thanks for telling me about the 25% off the next step that product. Saves me a call to Fitbit for now.

I'm on the forum now and wow. Never realized that so many person were having this problem with fitbits ionic. For it being g so expensive and not even make 2 years is just not good. Some one went as far and said we should all band together write the CEOs now that we gotten an email from them lol. Not sure of my next purchase but maybe not fitbit.

I definitely won’t be buying another Fitbit because I’ve just had so many problems with the ionic and when you’re spending $300 on a product that should not be happening. My first Fitbit ionic was only less than a year old and my replacement ionic is also less than a year old.

Well i tried Fitbit support again. They suck all they offer is 25 % off next purchase on another fitbit so it too can die. I sure hope GOOGLE makes a note of this. Many of us are tired of our Ionics dieing on us after 16 to 18 months of use. A 299 dollar watch for it to break. Many are lucky they have a warrant still yet I've heard after the receive their new one it also dies on them. These ionics ain't t even heavy enough to use as a paper weight at all . Be very careful on your purchase of these ionics.
