Fitbit not syncing related issue

My Fitbit would not sync, so I followed the work around and removed everything. Putting it back, I get as far as my ionic being found then it goes to a screen saying connecting  to tracker. And there it stays. 20 attempts and 4 days later still connecting to tracker. Any suggestions please

Same issue here. I tried restarting the app I've tried forcing the app to stop and then started again I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling the app I cannot get it to sync. There's some new weird update that is not working right or something? Frustrating

dont bother with calling fitbit support, you will get nothing but the run around, they will say we are working on it but will not give you a timeline. If you can get your money back return the ionic quickly.

I did a factory reset and nothing, the sync issues have been ongoing , and fitbit does nothing to resolve them . If possible get a refund asap

Did it just start today? I've had mine since Christmas, and the same issue started this morning.

i purchased my fitbit the end of october and it worked perfect until january then stopped syncing to the challenges. Convientely this happened after the 45 day return policy so that way Im stuck. I have a 300.00 tracker that worked properly for 2 months Rest asssured you will get ZERO resolution , the only response fitbit support will give is we are aware of the problem but we dont know when it will be fixed, it could be next week or next year. who knows certainly not fitbit. product not working , poor support thats why stocks are dropping

Unfortunately I got it in November.  I charged it and thag finally synced it.  But yes, it just started maybe Friday.  Very frustrating.

I have had mine for about 3 weeks and it just started doing that today as well.  I cannot get it to sync. Spent an hour on the phone with fitbit this morning and nothing.  He also said he was going to send me an email and I did not receive an email all day.  Think I need to take it back as well.

@Tigerlilly32 the email will be a waste of time, the response will be something llike we are aware of the problem and are engineers are working on it. you will get no timeline next week next year or 10 years just a BS response to get rid of you. My stopped after 2 months conviently after the 45 day refund period. Get your money back quick. stock prices are dropping dont get stuck like i did. @Fitbits generic answers will not make me go away. They gave me some BS response today that only pissed me off

@Deemiss so you are stuck too, i cant do anything about my situation , however i can post reviews and warn others about the known sync issue that fitbit refuses to fix

Hi, I finally got it to sync last night by unpairing and then pairing my device again.  I was trying from 6:30 am and finally got it to pair and sync at 8:30 pm.  Very frustrating. Looks like I am going to have the same problem today as I am already about 2,000 steps ahead of what my dashboard says.  

Not worth the $300.00 for sure!

If you do that you're going to have to re-pair all of the devices you have paired to your phones Bluetooth, and you'll have to re-enter the passwords for your home wifi and any other wifi your phone automatically connects to now. Resetting network connections will erase all of that. 

 

The Ionics not worth all the hassles. Return it and wait for the new and improved version 😋

You are right about that!  I can't return mine or I would.  That was the only fix I could come up with.

you are lucky you got a fix , ive been waiting 6 weeks and nothing  except @Fitbit support sending links to troubleshoot after I had already told them I had done them
