Hi, there seems to be a bug with the latest firmware update that when you shutdown the watch it doesn't actually shut down properly. To get it back on do a 'hard reset' i.e. hold down all 3 buttons for up to 30 seconds until the logo appears. The only downside is that whilst 'off' it isn't really and drains the battery so you might need to put it on charge for a while.
I have that exact problem and my Ionic will not start after a HARD RESTART. We need more help!
Best AnswerI have done this and cleaned my ionic plus the cable, it is still not turning on please help me with this
Thanks for the tip about the hard reset, @SunsetRunner! My Ionic had some trouble this morning - when I opened the "Today" screen it wasn't possible to continue down to the number of steps, steps this hour, or any of the below screens. So I tried doing a shutdown via Settings > About > Shutdown, and when it never came back on I thought it had just died on me. Coming to this forum I saw a bunch of other "my Ionic has died" posts, and I was just about ready to join the crowd and open a support case myself.
And after the hard reset, everything is back in working order. Thanks again! 🙂
