When I try to add a debit card it says processing error Have tried removing / adding app and turning device on /off

Hve yu checked that the issuing bank for your card is supported?  List here.  If yur card is not supported that is why you will be getting this error.

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android

@Tbrown47 Is your debit card supported? (Current list can be found banks and cards)

Yes, it is a Bank of America debit card.
