Fitbit will not charge up

They had a software update that killed these devices. I just got off the phone with them and was told my Ionic is outside the warranty period and they don't do repairs. So they gave me a code for a 25% discount on another product, except Fitbit Charge. Oh, the discount is only good for 30 days. I don't think I'll be purchasing another Fitbit product. I paid almost $300 for this tracker. And now it's gone because of their software.
