Floor count gone heywire

Recently floor count has gone mad. It's not windy but having gone up one flights of stairs twice today, I'm already on 24 floors.

I’ve had same problem with my versa an just bought ionic I’ve climbed at least 10 floors today it registered 6 if Walk toward my stairs out of front room it registers but If I turn left out of my middle room from a standing start it doesn’t register their are 13 steps in a flight
