Hello, 

I recently purchased a new Ionic and have had it for about 3 days. I like the watch a lot and mostly everything is working but two things have been causing me some problems. The main thing that’s really bothering me is my watch isn’t counting any flights of stairs. the past three days I haven’t gotten a single flight of stairs even though I definitely go up stairs more than enough times to get at least 1 flight. I had a charge 2 before and it never seemed to mess up on counting stairs. I have looked through a couple other discussions and threads about the ionic not counting stairs so at least I know my watch isn’t broken, but none of the suggestions on how to fix this problem have worked for me. I have tried shutting down my watch and turning it back on, still no stairs being counted. I have tried restarting the device, no stairs being counted still. I really just want my new watch, which was over twice the price of my old one, to work like my old one. does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this problem? I have also tried changing my clock face because I figured that that could have something to do with this problem, but alas, not the case and still no flights of stairs. the most recent time i restarted my watch to try and fix the problem I got the fitbit logo on my screen directly after going up the stairs as if something with my watch gets really messed up by the stairs and causes a restart occasionally. I’m really not sure what to do. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: So I looked through my fitbit app and saw that the first day I had my watch it recorded 5 flights of stairs so it had recorded flights of stair one of the the three days that I have had it. still though, its not recording stairs now so I still need help with fixing it.

Hello, I'd also appreciate any help. Had my Ionic for a week. I've climbed stairs dozens of times and it's not be registered. Never had this problem with my Blaze.
