GPS For Elderly

I need a device that will track with GPS for my husband that has Alzheimer's .  We live in the country and he loves to be outside.   I need to be able to find him if he would wander off from our yard.  I know the Fitbit devices requires you have the phone next to the device to sync it.  Need it to be independent.

@SunsetRunnerit's good that you want to keep your husband home and safe.Fitbit doesn't have anything that would work for your husband.

You might want to check with your local health care provider or Alzheimer's support group for suggestions. Here is a link that explains several devices/services available - click to read

Remember any GPS device isn't 100% accurate and sometimes signals are lost. Be sure whatever you use works best for your situation and is easy enough to set up.
