I have just had a new ionic and when I was running the other day it said that my GPS was searching ? How do I fix this. ?

My Iconic always takes forever searching and once it connects it keeps dropping out and going back to searching this never used to be a problem with my Versa but since I got this iconic 3 months ago became a problem and is getting worse and worse went for a 6 km run last night and it never connected
