GPS refuses to contect

For the past week my Ionic has resisted every troubleshooting technique and remained unable to connect to GPS.  I do not want to factory reset, as it took 8 hrs to download the music I have onto the device. Is this a symptom of the latest firmware update?

My ionic seems to take a few minutes to connect in anything but clear skies. Maybe because of the small antenna
