It happened 3 times last week with my Ionic... and I started to worrying about it. Everything's ok at the beginning, I put running mode and it takes 30 sec to connect to de GPS, but then in the 2km approximately it disconnects and tries to re-connects. Sometimes it catches the signal again but it last only a few meters and then it disconnects again. There is not huge buildings or stuff like that, I had no gps problems for a year here.
It's a shame, you can imagine how disappointing is do a long run and notice that your GPS is not working! Every Fitbit product I bought has a problem and those are very expensive products. How can I be sure next time if I need to carry my cellphone with me for tracking?
Thanks a lot

@Briantheworld Hey there! Thank you for the detailed information shared.
I see where your disappointment is coming from. I would like you to try the following troubleshooting and track another GPS activity after this:
Make sure that you have a clear view of the sky when you start the exercise. Environmental factors, including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and thick cloud cover, can interfere with your device’s ability to connect to GPS satellites. If the signal is blocked—either because you're indoors, underground, or due to another reason—GPS won't work.
Since your Ionic has built-in GPS there's no need to take your phone with you.
Let me know how the troubleshooting goes. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
