Grey Screen...Can't reset soft or hard

I am very unhappy as I think my Ionic is no longer functioning.  When I woke up this morning it was at 78%...and then...nothing...If I press the side button just a dull grey screen appears.  I tried to reset....nothing..I tried to charge...the watch got HOT.  I have only had my watch for a year.

Thoughts?

I had the same exact issue happen to me. The screen was a dull grey but now nothing. No lights won’t charge, can’t reset and when I called tech support they offered 20% off my next Fitbit device since they couldn’t figure it out. No thanks on the discount, I’ll find something more reliable. This device was only 15 months old (3 months outside of warranty, go figure).

My Ionic screen turn grey, tried reset by pressing the button reboot or reset. Problem still remain.

Now my screen become total blank. HR light nothing . After charge, tried reset using left button and right bottom . Still don't work. Watch feel heat after charge
