Heart Rate monitor didn’t monitor when at sleep

I got my ionic watch a week back,

Today morning when I got up to check the resting heartbeat it was showing blank, not sure why 

and when I checked in mobile it didn’t record the heatbeat 

may I know what is the reason for this ?

On the main screen on your watch swipe left 3 times and go to settings scroll down to heart rate and make sure you didn't accidentally shut the heart rate monitor off.
