Since I ve got dvt in my left leg I can't do boxing anymore so I'm trying cardio workouts like elliptical and bikes in the gym. The thing that really annoys me, that my fitbit seems to lose track of my heart rate every now and then during exercise and therfore states that my heart rate is not around 145 the whole time but it looks like I did some intevral training which I didn't and sometimes I see on the device itself no heartbeat shown at all. It probably has something to do with sweating since I don't have this during walking or at work and when I dry it and put the watch back on it starts working a gain but then I have to that around every 5 minutes. . I think a fitness tracker should be able to work during workouts and most people sweat during moderate to vigorous exercises. Like I said i wasn't that focused on my heart rate during sports before since boxing is quite difficult to wear the device, and the movement is really u predictable, but now... It really disspasppoints me that even elliptical excercises which is quite regular movement wise, it doesn't do the job.

Hi @Steffiesz, It's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, welcome back.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check the tips and recommendations that are outlined on our help article: How do I improve the accuracy of my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?.
As stated there, during a workout, experiment with wearing the device higher on your wrist (2 finger widths) for an improved fit. Many exercises such as bike riding or weight lifting cause you to bend your wrist frequently, which could interfere with the heart-rate signal if the watch is lower on your wrist.
Let me know if you have any additional questions. The feedback that was shared in your post is appreciated.

I've been trying this many times but yesterday same thing. It might always been an issue but I wasn't that focused on my heart rate during boxing but now since the cardio exercises I'm. And Im really disappointed. Moreover I'm curious about new improvements and innovations because I'm reading about apple's innovation being able to measure ecg. Which is cool I would also love blood oxygen levels which has been rumored many times but haven't seen it yet and I would love the ability of measuring blooedpressure. Are these things on your list or not at fitbit because otherwise I probably leave fitbit behind.
