Hi @Twintowers2 - So, you are saying that while working out, your Ionic isn't getting a heart rate reading, is that right? I'm assuming that it is working properly the rest of the time. I'm guessing this is due to where you are wearing the tracker and/or how tightly? You might want to try the opposite wrist and also tighten it up a bit when exercising.

Best AnswerYes but i dont think i should wear it tighter or it would be too tight. I will try on other hand.
Best AnswerThe Heart Rate has stopped working on my Ionic too.
I have cleaned the sensors, updated the firmware which also did a sensor re-calibration and tried wearing it on the other arm.
It still doesn't show Heart Rate. - Does anyone have any other fixes?
Best AnswerI assume that is a bug.
I have a higher heart rate, but that's not correct. Charge 2 has here better data.
Ionic is not well developed. To much bugs and problems, community is full, without solution!
Best AnswerMy heart rate monitor is not working either. I’ve had my Ionic for a week and the monitor stopped working after the battery died. I have shut down my Ionic, performed a factory reset twice and re-updated. Still does not work.
Best AnswerIn setting there is an option to turn HeartRate On/Off - Guess what.
It is now working. Enough said. DOH!!
Best AnswerJust providing bugfix will help!
Heart rate sensor reset doesn't help! Every test is wasting time! ![]()
Best AnswerI'm no technophobe, but this was such an obvious mistake to make.
Sorry it doesn't help you, but there may be others like me who also missed this.
Best AnswerYes, and you can reset the heart rate sensor.
1. Switch to "off"
2. Synchronize
3. Switch to "on"
4. Synchronize
Restart
Hopefully it helps.

Mark
Best AnswerI have the same problem, sometimes the heart rate monitor is working, sometimes not - regardless how tight I have the band or whether I am sweating or not. I finally started searching this topic (after it stoped again - a few minutes ago) - now it is working again (for the moment)... without reset, cleaning or tightening.
I guess it is what it is...
Is your heart rate "on"? I somehow accidentally set to off so it was not working for 3 days. I went to settings from the device and then changed the heart rate to "on". Maybe your case is not the same problem as mine but still wanted to post this just in case.
